Whitehorse 4yo kinder sessions

The Whitehorse City Council will fund 2 sessions per eligible kinder or ELC*. Centres can self-fund additional sessions as well. Funding is limited and completing an Expression of Interest does not guarantee a funded incursion.

*To qualify for two funded sessions, they must be delivered on a single day, not separate days, to be eligible.

Session topics are outlined below. Once you have read the session topics and terms and conditions, scroll down and complete the Expression of Interest.
All our programs are designed around VEYLD Framework in with a focus on science and geography, with elements of wellbeing and civic/social responsibility.

Session length is 45-60 minutes per session – it adapts to the group. The sessions are divided into ‘chunks’ of movement and hands-on activity, stories and music.

These sessions are for 4yo kinder only (year before primary school).

The magic loop
Guided by lovable characters and joyful storytelling, children will explore how everyday items can be reused, recycled, or repurposed instead of thrown away. Through hands-on upcycled crafts or gardening activities, interactive sorting games, songs, little learners discover how "nothing goes to waste" in a circular world's perfect loop. It’s a vibrant, tactile adventure that sparks eco-curiosity and lifelong habits of care for the Earth.

Through storytelling and active play, they learn how to spot, stop, and clean up litter — and why the best litter is the one that never hits the ground! Includes hands-on clean-up games and fun ways to become a Litter Legend every day!
Wooshy the water drop's big adventure
Where does water go when it rains, splashes, or swirls down the drain?
