3yo kinder sessions

The following sessions are available for 3yo kinders within Metropolitan Melbourne and the Monrington Peninsula. Sessions can be adapted to include 2yo students with more of a 'storytime feel'.

3yo kinder programs

All our programs are designed around VEYLD Framework in with a focus on science and geography, with elements of wellbeing and civic/social responsibility.

Session length is 30-45 minutes per session – it adapts to the group. The sessions are divided into ‘chunks’ of movement and hands-on activity, stories and music.

These sessions are for 2 and 3 year olds.

Kinder topics

Mysterious mini beasts and beauties
Dive into the fascinating world of insects and other invertebrates. What are some of their characteristics? Learn the roles they play in nature and why they are important to biodiversity.
Learn about their lifecycles, how minibeasts and beauties can tell us about the environment and what we can do to provide them habitat in the garden.

Wonderful worms
Learn about the amazing world of compost worms and how they help us recycle our food waste. Meet a cheeky puppet and help feed it, Sing wormy songs and meet some real live worms!

Habitat
What is habitat and why is it important? Meet some cheeky puppets and learn all about their habitat through stories and songs.

Custom topics
We can customise a topic to suit your curriculum. Want to make a frog bog? A lizard lounge? A butterfly trail? Set up a compost? We've got your back!

Terms and conditions

School and Kindergarten staff roles and responsibilities

1.  2-3YO programs:
These incursions are designed for 2-3 year olds, incorporating stories, songs and puppets.

2.  Maximum group size:
A maximum of 30 students per session are allowed.

4. Management of high-needs and/or highly disruptive students:
Staff to notify Chooktopia on booking, about effective classroom management strategies if there are a number of high-needs or disruptive students, so as to not detract from the session delivery for the broader group. 5. Completing evaluation form:
Staff are required to submit the mandatory evaluation form provided by Chooktopia within 5 (five) business days of the incursion. You can complete the evaluation form online or email a scanned version of the hard copy.

6. Late cancellations:
